Jasmyn’s mom was a top Chinese ping-pong player before coming to the U.S.
Jasmyn's passion for guiding aspiring physician assistants stems from her own journey to becoming a PA. She grew up in New Jersey before relocating to North Carolina for her undergraduate education at Wake Forest University, where she majored in Health & Exercise Science with secondary studies in Chinese and dance. While serving on interview and admissions committees for PA schools, she has gained a deep understanding of the qualities and skills that top programs value in their applicants. This insider knowledge, combined with her clinical experience as a practicing PA at Duke University Health System, allows her to provide comprehensive guidance to aspiring PAs.
In addition to her role on admissions committees, Jasmyn also mentors new-graduate APPs at her workplace, further solidifying her commitment to supporting and guiding the next generation of physician assistants.
