Gianna grew up in Buffalo, New York, and attended the University of Pittsburgh for her undergraduate education. She initially studied biology undeclared before declaring a major in rehabilitation science with an emphasis on PA school-relevant coursework such as anatomy with a full cadaver lab, physiology with a lab, and pharmacology.
During her time at the University of Pittsburgh, she completed a certificate in the Conceptual Foundations of Medicine with related areas in biology and chemistry. Her academic achievements were recognized through multiple honorary memberships and awards at the exclusive University of Pittsburgh Honors Convocation for her distinguished academic performance and leadership experience.
Gianna's healthcare experience is diverse and extensive. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and home health aide, gaining hands-on experience in patient care. Additionally, she conducted her own field experience internship at UPMC and volunteered as a clinical research assistant, MDA camp counselor, and twice-weekly hospital volunteer at the UPMC HELP Program. Her major GPA of 3.98 further highlights her academic excellence.
After completing her undergraduate studies, Gianna applied to several PA programs and was offered interviews at the majority of them. She accepted an offer at Stony Brook University, finishing her education in 24 months with a 3.87 GPA. Haley is a huge Game of Thrones fan, and at times wonders what veterinary care might be like for a dragon! She also enjoys thrifting with her friends, and will never deny a brunch invite.
Haley earned a dual degree in biological science and chemistry and was presented the Lasell Book Award upon graduation. This award is chosen by faculty and only one student per major is honored for their dedication to academia, leadership, and passion for their field. Haley was also nominated and selected for the Summer Student Stipend Award, given to students showing promise in their respective fields.
During her undergraduate years, Haley served as the president of philanthropy in the Student Alumni Association, demonstrating her commitment to aiding underrepresented communities in the Greater Boston Area. She also pioneered programs at Lasell University for new students with special interests in biology and tutored for the GRE at no cost after achieving a remarkable score of 325.
Haley's practical experience in veterinary medicine began at Orange Veterinary Hospital in Connecticut, where she became a valued veterinary technician and student ambassador for United Veterinary Care. Her dedication and positive attitude in this fast-paced environment solidified her desire to become a small animal veterinarian.

Helena is an avid foodie and runs a food account on Instagram that has almost 7,000 followers. She's not sure why so many people like her content, but she's having fun being a creator and occasionally being gifted free snacks and meals!
Helena earned her Bachelor’s degree from Emory University before completing a dual Physician Assistant and Master’s of Public Health program at the same institution. She currently works in medical aesthetics, providing injectables, lasers, and other rejuvenation treatments. Previously, she worked in project management as an aesthetic PA in various clinics.
When applying to PA school, Helena received interviews at eight out of the ten programs she applied to and was accepted by nearly all the schools where she interviewed. Paying it forward, she has successfully helped several students gain admission to PA programs by editing their essays, staging mock interviews, and sharing valuable tips and tricks for the application process to help applicants stand out.

Jacob’s medical journey began with his education at the University of Alabama, where he earned a double major in biology and history. His exceptional academic performance, which included a perfect 4.0 GPA and a 98th percentile MCAT score, laid the foundation for his future success in medicine. He then pursued an MD/MBA dual degree at Baylor College of Medicine.
During his time at the University of Alabama, Jacob discovered his deep-seated passion for mentorship and teaching. As an Honor's College TA, he helped students from various majors craft professional resumes, honing his skills in guiding others toward their goals. She conducted research at the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine for over three years, focusing on stem cell regeneration in planarians. Simultaneously, she played an active role in the creative community, assuming various leadership positions and ultimately serving as Editor-in-Chief of Cornell's largest fashion and art editorial, where she managed 11 project teams comprising over 250 students. She also served as a mental health counselor for both Cornell students and members of the broader Ithaca community.
After graduating from Cornell, Jacqueline led a multi-site, NIH-funded study investigating palliative care intervention delivery models for patients with Stage 4 lung cancer as part of the Cancer Outcomes, Research, and Education (CORE) Program at Massachusetts General Hospital. She collaborated with a multidisciplinary team of Harvard Medical School physicians, clinical psychologists, and biostatisticians to recruit patients and analyze data.
As the lead research coordinator, she played a crucial role by explaining palliative care to terminally ill patients and utilizing her warmth and ability to build rapport.
