Gianna grew up in Buffalo, New York, and attended the University of Pittsburgh for her undergraduate education. She initially studied biology undeclared before declaring a major in rehabilitation science with an emphasis on PA school-relevant coursework such as anatomy with a full cadaver lab, physiology with a lab, and pharmacology. 

During her time at the University of Pittsburgh, she completed a certificate in the Conceptual Foundations of Medicine with related areas in biology and chemistry. Her academic achievements were recognized through multiple honorary memberships and awards at the exclusive University of Pittsburgh Honors Convocation for her distinguished academic performance and leadership experience.

Gianna's healthcare experience is diverse and extensive. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and home health aide, gaining hands-on experience in patient care. Additionally, she conducted her own field experience internship at UPMC and volunteered as a clinical research assistant, MDA camp counselor, and twice-weekly hospital volunteer at the UPMC HELP Program. Her major GPA of 3.98 further highlights her academic excellence.

After completing her undergraduate studies, Gianna applied to several PA programs and was offered interviews at the majority of them. She accepted an offer at Stony Brook University, finishing her education in 24 months with a 3.87 GPA. The majority of her clinical rotation experience was through the New York City Health and Hospital system, with a portion completed in Buffalo, New York.

Gianna is currently considering furthering her education with a Doctorate of Physician Assistant Studies degree. Outside of her professional pursuits, she enjoys spending time with friends, traveling, baking, playing with her dog, and working on her art career. Her passion for art is evident in her disciplined ballet dancing background and her previous role as a ballet teacher prior to starting PA school.

Grace’s academic journey began at Georgetown University, where she graduated summa cum laude with a BS in biology of global health and Spanish. During her time at Georgetown, Grace demonstrated a strong commitment to research, education, and community service. She worked on research projects in breast cancer, evolutionary medicine, and health disparities in Washington, DC, and was a teaching assistant for the biology department. Her leadership skills were evident in her role as the leader of a student organization focused on health and medical equity, and she volunteered as a medical interpreter at a local free clinic.

Grace's academic excellence was recognized through several awards, including the biology department and Spanish departments' graduating senior awards at Georgetown. Her senior thesis was published in the Journal of Evolutionary Medicine and Public Health, and her research on breast cancer was published in the American Journal of Pathology. Additionally, she worked on a book chapter that has since been published about increasing diversity, equity, and inclusion in oncology clinical trials.

Grace's passion for community service is evident in her role as the Program Director for the Chicagoland Free Clinics Consortium during her first year in medical school. Haley earned a dual degree in biological science and chemistry and was presented the Lasell Book Award upon graduation. This award is chosen by faculty and only one student per major is honored for their dedication to academia, leadership, and passion for their field.  Haley was also nominated and selected for the Summer Student Stipend Award, given to students showing promise in their respective fields.

During her undergraduate years, Haley served as the president of philanthropy in the Student Alumni Association, demonstrating her commitment to aiding underrepresented communities in the Greater Boston Area. She also pioneered programs at Lasell University for new students with special interests in biology and tutored for the GRE at no cost after achieving a remarkable score of 325.

Haley's practical experience in veterinary medicine began at Orange Veterinary Hospital in Connecticut, where she became a valued veterinary technician and student ambassador for United Veterinary Care. Her dedication and positive attitude in this fast-paced environment solidified her desire to become a small animal veterinarian.

After graduation, Haley took a gap year to improve her skills and broaden her experience. She gained additional expertise in anesthesiology and diagnostic protocols as a veterinary technician and volunteered at a horse rescue and rehabilitation center to gain experience with large animals.

Her current research focuses on Feline Infectious Peritonitis, working in a laboratory setting with LIU's virologist to develop genome maps and diagnostic protocols.

Hallie is a member of the National Institutes of Health Oxford-Cambridge Scholars Program. Her academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science in molecular, cellular, and developmental biology from Yale University, where she served as Co-President of the Yale Medical Professions Outreach and Chief of Service for the Yale Emergency Medical Service.

Hallie’s admissions experience, including her role as the student lead for STEM recruitment at Yale, equips her with expert insights into the application process. She also supervised medical students in the Department of Physiology, Development, and Neuroscience at Cambridge.

She has worked on a variety of research projects spanning astrophysics, computational genomics, cell biology, viral pathogenesis, regenerative biology, and neuroimmunology. Her research has resulted in 12 co-authored scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals, demonstrating her commitment to advancing medical knowledge.

Harsh is a driven and accomplished dental professional who studied at Columbia University, originally hailing from Chicago, IL. With a passion for helping aspiring dental students achieve their goals, Harsh has been mentoring students for over a year and a half. His dedication and expertise have led to students being accepted to various prestigious dental programs across the country, including UMichigan, Harvard, UCSF, UPenn, UF, and Nova Southeastern. Harsh's own impressive list of acceptances to over 15 dental schools includes Columbia, UNC, UCSF, UMichigan, UF, UPenn, UIC, Midwestern, Minnesota, UAB, NSU, Tufts, NYU, Buffalo, and Maryland.

Harsh's drive for mentorship stems from the guidance he received from several dentists, upperclassmen students, and his school's advising office during his own application journey. Helena earned her Bachelor’s degree from Emory University before completing a dual Physician Assistant and Master’s of Public Health program at the same institution. She currently works in medical aesthetics, providing injectables, lasers, and other rejuvenation treatments. Previously, she worked in project management as an aesthetic PA in various clinics. 

When applying to PA school, Helena received interviews at eight out of the ten programs she applied to and was accepted by nearly all the schools where she interviewed. Paying it forward, she has successfully helped several students gain admission to PA programs by editing their essays, staging mock interviews, and sharing valuable tips and tricks for the application process to help applicants stand out.

Helena believes that a solid understanding of the application cycle, what schools are looking for in an ideal candidate, and a clear grasp of one’s strengths, weaknesses, goals, and unique qualities are essential for success. This is where she excels. Her coaching methods focus on aligning the applicant’s strengths with key parts of the application while strategically compensating for any weak areas. He pursued his undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia, earning a Bachelor's degree in biology. Demonstrating his exceptional academic abilities and dedication, Herchel graduated summa cum laude in an impressive two-and-a-half years.

During his time at UGA, Herchel's passion for advancing dental science was evident through his involvement in various research projects. He delved into the study of S. mutants, exploring the potential of nanoparticles in inhibiting the progression of dental caries. This research not only showcased his intellectual curiosity but also his commitment to finding innovative solutions to common dental problems. Additionally, Herchel analyzed the global impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on various countries, demonstrating his ability to think critically and understand complex issues from a broader perspective.

When it came time to choose a dental school, Herchel carefully considered a pool of six options before ultimately deciding to pursue his dental degree at the prestigious University of Michigan School of Dentistry. This decision reflects his dedication to receiving a top-tier education and his desire to be at the forefront of dental innovation and patient care.

As an admissions counselor, Herchel's approach is centered on empowering students to become the best applicants they can be. With more than two years of admissions counseling experience, he has a proven track record of helping students achieve their goals. Currently, Hussain works as a mobile medical practitioner, providing geriatric, urgent, and family medical care to patients in their homes. His commitment to patient care extends beyond his clinical roles; he is also the owner of a medical practice he started in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Hussain's passion for consulting stems from his mother, who is a teacher, nurse, and musician. Her dedication to helping others has inspired him to pursue a career in mentorship and consulting. What sets Hussain apart from other consultants is his broad background in clinical laboratory science and his current ventures in entrepreneurship. His diverse experiences before and after PA school make him a well-rounded and experienced consultant.

Hussain's greatest strength as a consultant is his genuine care for students who want to get accepted into their dream program. Having worked hard to achieve his own dreams, he understands the feeling of dedication and perseverance. This empathy enables him to provide personalized guidance and support to students.

As a mentor, Hussain approaches the PA school application process with a holistic and well-rounded view. Ian's dentistry journey began in his hometown of Phoenix, AZ, where he attended Arizona State University for one year before his service mission in Chile. Upon returning, he completed his undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University. Ian also gained valuable patient experience working as a technician and medical scribe in an ophthalmology office, further solidifying his passion for healthcare and patient care.

Ian understands how stressful the application process can be, especially for those without family in healthcare. It can be tough knowing which schools to apply to, what is required, and what makes a competitive applicant. Ian wishes he had had someone to help guide him throughout the admissions process to provide clarity and direction. Prior to pursuing his DDS at the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, Isaac completed his Bachelor of Science at Stony Brook University. During his undergraduate years, he served as a teaching assistant for multiple STEM courses and engaged in chemical research with Stony Brook’s Department of Materials Science and Chemical Engineering. Following his successful acceptance into his preferred dental school and one of only two accelerated programs nationwide, he assisted several other students in navigating and succeeding in the admissions process.

Isaac is driven by a passion for student success. With a diverse background in healthcare, teaching, and research, he brings valuable insights to prospective dental students. She also completed her Master's in public health at Emory University.

Isabelle's physician assistant training took place at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA, where she graduated summa cum laude and had the honor of giving the commencement speech. Isabelle also mentored several underclassmen during their journey as first-year PA students, demonstrating her commitment to supporting and guiding others.

In her role as a consultant, Isabelle focuses on inspiring students to capture their true potential by highlighting their experiences and crafting interesting narratives. As the first PA at her urogynecology practice, Isabelle has paved the way for future advanced practice providers. She recently concluded training a new-hire nurse practitioner to join their team.

Jacob’s medical journey began with his education at the University of Alabama, where he earned a double major in biology and history. His exceptional academic performance, which included a perfect 4.0 GPA and a 98th percentile MCAT score, laid the foundation for his future success in medicine. He then pursued an MD/MBA dual degree at Baylor College of Medicine. 

During his time at the University of Alabama, Jacob discovered his deep-seated passion for mentorship and teaching. As an Honor's College TA, he helped students from various majors craft professional resumes, honing his skills in guiding others toward their goals. Additionally, Jacob served as an MCAT tutor for several years, providing insider information and strategies to help aspiring medical students excel on this critical exam. Jacob found the mentoring and advising in both of these roles incredibly rewarding and wants to continue this passion as a medical school advisor.

As a coach, Jacob's biggest strength lies in his ability to foster honest and open relationships with his students. He also excels at providing professional and actionable feeding on all components of students’ applications. He understands that the journey to medical school can be challenging and complex, and he is dedicated to addressing all queries about college, medical school, and the application cycle.

Jacqueline earned her BA in chemistry with a minor in business at Cornell University. During her time at Cornell, she immersed herself in diverse pursuits. She conducted research at the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine for over three years, focusing on stem cell regeneration in planarians. Simultaneously, she played an active role in the creative community, assuming various leadership positions and ultimately serving as Editor-in-Chief of Cornell's largest fashion and art editorial, where she managed 11 project teams comprising over 250 students. She also served as a mental health counselor for both Cornell students and members of the broader Ithaca community.

After graduating from Cornell, Jacqueline led a multi-site, NIH-funded study investigating palliative care intervention delivery models for patients with Stage 4 lung cancer as part of the Cancer Outcomes, Research, and Education (CORE) Program at Massachusetts General Hospital. She collaborated with a multidisciplinary team of Harvard Medical School physicians, clinical psychologists, and biostatisticians to recruit patients and analyze data.

As the lead research coordinator, she played a crucial role by explaining palliative care to terminally ill patients and utilizing her warmth and ability to build rapport. She conducted an independent research project investigating the associations between depression and various demographic factors in patients with Stage 4 lung cancer, ultimately publishing her results and presenting her research at the national ASCO Quality Symposium in 2022. With such impressive extracurriculars, her medical school application cycle was very successful, receiving acceptance to nearly every medical school she interviewed with. 

Jacqueline is a board member at the Weill Cornell Community Clinic, a student-run free clinic serving uninsured New Yorkers, and is participating in different research projects with prestigious doctors. She also acts as a mentor for pre-med undergraduate students at Cornell, walking them through the complexities of the medical school admissions process. Leveraging her diverse background, Jacqueline prioritizes training the next generation in essential interpersonal skills such as validation and empathy. For James, becoming a PA began at Quinnipiac University, where he earned a Bachelor's in biology. At Quinnipiac, he demonstrated exceptional leadership and academic prowess. He served as a Leadership Board Chair for the Quinnipiac Honors Program and consistently achieved Dean's List recognitions. His academic journey was further developed by studying abroad at a university in Australia, broadening his global perspective.

James's commitment to community service was evident through his active participation in a philanthropy-focused fraternity, where he regularly volunteered for various community events. Prior to starting his PA program, James gained hands-on experience working as an EMT at Nelson Ambulance Service, working as an emergency medical technician at Emergency Resource Management, and shadowing multiple PAs in the field. His passion for research is demonstrated through his clinical research experience in two different lab settings. James has maintained professional relationships with professors at both Touro and Quinnipiac, demonstrating his ability to build and nurture professional networks.

James's journey to PA school was marked by success, as he interviewed and was accepted by multiple schools before choosing Touro University. This experience provided him with in-depth knowledge of the application process and strategies to make an applicant's profile stand out.

Outside of his academic pursuits, James enjoys a variety of activities including tennis, basketball, skiing, trivia nights, traveling, and spending time at the beach. His current career interest lies in becoming a cardiothoracic surgery PA, demonstrating his ambition to work in a challenging and specialized field of medicine.

During her time at Emory, Janet demonstrated her leadership skills by serving as class treasurer, a pre-PA mentor, and a voting member of the Allied Health Council. Her involvement in these roles not only deepened her own educational experience but also provided her with a detailed explanation of the qualities that make a successful PA candidate.

Since graduating from Emory, Janet has been thoroughly involved with individuals interested in a career as a PA, as well as those actively preparing for PA school applications and interviews. She understands the role that strong mentors and role models played in her own journey, and she strives to provide the same guidance and support to those who seek her counsel and advice.

When asked about her favorite part of mentoring pre-PAs, Janet cites the process of fine-tuning personal statements as a particularly rewarding experience. As a self-described "Type A organized individual," she leverages her strengths in time management and organization to develop schedules and checklists for every student. However, Janet's mentorship goes beyond just practical guidance. She is deeply invested in understanding the heart behind each student's goal to become a PA. By providing a genuine connection and understanding their motivations, she is better equipped to help them find their voice and make it apparent in their applications and interviews.

Janet has successfully guided several prePA students from the pre-application stage all the way to admissions, and they are now practicing PAs. Other students have gone on to pursue careers in various fields of medicine, a testament to Janet's ability to provide tailored support and guidance.

With her experience as a writing center tutor and an essay reviewer throughout the years, Janet has honed her skills in helping others craft compelling narratives and present their best selves in written form.

Jasmine graduated from Emory University with a Bachelor’s in human health. At Emory, Jasmine demonstrated her commitment to community service and mentorship through her involvement in the Student Educational Experience Development program, serving as both a volunteer and president of its high school mentoring programs. She also participated in various volunteer and service opportunities through her sorority, the Emory admissions office, and as a Wonderful Wednesday moderator, a weekly celebration for the Emory community to socialize.

Before earning her Master’s degree, Jasmine completed three summers of research at Case Western Reserve University, exploring gamma delta T cell biology and their potential role in cancer immunotherapy. This work laid the foundation for her future studies and research interests. While pursuing her degree, she continued her undergraduate work on gamma delta T cells and their role in cancer immunotherapy through her thesis project. Concurrently, she gained clinical experience working full-time at Cleveland Clinic's Hillcrest Hospital in the surgery center and served as an admissions ambassador for her program. 

At Tufts University School of Medicine, Jasmine took on several important roles. She served as her class' alumni representative and volunteered with the NICU cuddling and advocacy program at Tufts Medical Center. Her commitment to addressing health disparities is evident in her role as a Sam W. Ho Health Justice Scholar and her work as a volunteer and researcher at the Center for Black Maternal Health and Reproductive Justice.

Jasmine's interests lie in women's health, population-level health issues, and health disparities. She is particularly passionate about community outreach and mentoring youth. Her career aspirations are focused on obstetrics and gynecology, and she is actively seeking research opportunities in this field, as well as in epidemiology and public health.

As a mentor, Jasmine brings her personal experience of successfully navigating the challenging medical school admissions process. Having worked hard to become a well-rounded applicant and secure a full tuition scholarship to her dream school, she is well-equipped to guide others through this journey. Jasmine is excited to help students develop strong applications and gain admission to their dream medical schools, drawing from her own experiences and the skills she has developed in leadership, organization, and communication.

Jasmyn's passion for guiding aspiring physician assistants stems from her own journey to becoming a PA. She grew up in New Jersey before relocating to North Carolina for her undergraduate education at Wake Forest University, where she majored in Health & Exercise Science with secondary studies in Chinese and dance. To gain healthcare experience, Jasmyn spent two years working as a CNA in orthopedics and oncology.

After completing her undergraduate studies, Jasmyn pursued her passion for the PA profession by enrolling in Campbell University's PA program. During her time there, she demonstrated her commitment to mentoring and supporting others by chartering the pre-PA club and providing guidance to pre-allied health students.

As a mentor, Jasmyn's greatest strength lies in her firsthand experience with the PA admissions process and her ability to share her knowledge and insights with her students. While serving on interview and admissions committees for PA schools, she has gained a deep understanding of the qualities and skills that top programs value in their applicants. This insider knowledge, combined with her clinical experience as a practicing PA at Duke University Health System, allows her to provide comprehensive guidance to aspiring PAs.

In addition to her role on admissions committees, Jasmyn also mentors new-graduate APPs at her workplace, further solidifying her commitment to supporting and guiding the next generation of physician assistants. She finds great fulfillment and energy in helping others achieve their dreams of becoming PAs and looks forward to working with each client on their special journey.

Born in Bulgaria, Jay immigrated to St. Louis, Missouri with his family at the age of six. Jay studied at Saint Louis University before enrolling at the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine and pursuing a Master of medical science in medical education at Harvard. He graduated from Saint Louis University with a BS in biomedical engineering, emphasizing engineering mathematics. He was a member of the Alpha Epsilon Delta, Pi Delta Phi, Biomedical Engineering, Tau Beta Pi, and Alpha Eta Mu Beta Societies. 

During his undergraduate years, Jay demonstrated his commitment to research and innovation through four years of work in soft tissue engineering and microfluidics. His entrepreneurial spirit was evident in his founding of the Engineering Health Collaborative, an organization focused on developing low-cost medical devices for medically underserved countries. His global perspective was further developed through his experience as a pre-medical fellow with the Atlantis Project in Athens, Greece, and his work on developing a novel preventative medical device for catheter-associated urinary tract infections.

After graduation, Jay's academic journey took an international turn. He became a Fulbright Scholar at the Medical University of Warsaw in Poland. Jay's next step took him to Paris, France, where he worked as a biomedical technology startup analyst with Hello Tomorrow. In this role, he focused on accelerating radical solutions to improve human and planetary health through deep tech innovations.

Jay served on the admissions committee as a medical student reviewer and interviewer for two years at the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine. During this time he interviewed over 30 prospective applicants and sat in on every committee meeting including ranking applicants. This experience combined with his freelance work in AMCAS application editing and conducting mock interviews demonstrate his commitment to helping the next generation of medical students.

Jay has been mentoring and consulting students through the medical school application process for over five years. He has always found joy in mentoring others since middle school and beyond. He has helped learners in math, engineering, science, French, and many other subjects. He has enjoyed working with students through the medical school application process the most because it enables him to learn about each candidate's background and life experiences. 

One of his favorite things is when students follow up with him when they are applying for residency. He enjoys seeing all of the things they have accomplished over the years and staying connected with them. Jay’s approach to admissions counseling is to let the student control the agenda. This allows them to tackle any area they need additional support with.

One of Jay’s greatest strengths is his positivity. He often hears from those on the pathway to medicine how advisors or professors have directed discouraging remarks toward them in the past or have told them to do one thing or another. His goal is to reframe all of those discouragements and set everyone on a path where they feel confident that they can reach their goals. Every single person is unique, and he hopes to inspire and motivate those he works with.

As a first-generation college student from an immigrant family, he had no connection or experience with anyone in medicine or higher education. Having gone through the process of applying to college and medical school on his own by scavenging for resources online, he fully understands the struggles that happen along this journey. He hopes to be able to give back and support learners through such challenges.

Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Jed's academic journey began at UC Davis, where he graduated with honors, earning a BS in neurobiology, physiology, and behavior, and double minors in psychology and public health sciences.

During his undergraduate studies, Jed demonstrated exceptional academic achievement and commitment to community service. He was awarded the Distinguished Scholar Award for the College of Biological Sciences and the Gold Community Service Award for his independent research in musculoskeletal physiology and extensive service to the unhoused community in Davis, CA, and Sacramento, CA. 

During this time, Jed mentored students at UCD's Undergraduate Research Center and empowered pre-health students from minority demographics through leadership within cultural pre-health organizations. After college, Jed spent his gap year coaching his old high school swim team, conducting clinical research focused on Asian American health at Stanford University, and working at a medical technology startup called Biospectal, developing innovative blood pressure diagnostic tools.

Jed's research experience is extensive, with multiple first-author publications and presentations to national organizations such as the American College of Sports Medicine. He was accepted to multiple medical school programs, including top programs like Harvard and UCSF, and has interviewed at several institutions. Jed continues to pursue his interests in emergency medicine, working with communities experiencing homelessness through free health clinics, and competing nationally on UC Berkeley's Quidditch team. He also continues to extend his mentorship by assisting underprivileged Bay Area high school students with their college applications.

As a mentor, Jed brings his passion for paying forward his talents to help pre-med students achieve their goals. He has reviewed numerous medical school applications and conducted mock interviews, providing him with expert insights into the application process. Jed is dedicated to helping students showcase their best selves throughout the application cycle, attributing much of his success to his own mentors. He is excited to work with students and help them blossom through their journeys, achieving fruitful application cycles.
