Prior to starting medical school, Dr. Ravikumar spent a gap year working on translational research at Weill Cornell, further solidifying her passion for medicine and research. Her research experience continued to grow during medical school, with several publications and presentations on topics in surgery. After medical school, she started her residency at the University of Arizona College of Medicine.

Dr Ravikumar's commitment to mentoring and teaching is evident in her various roles. She has mentored several pre-med students, including those interested in pursuing the BS/MD programs, and has worked extensively with high school students interested in medicine through her school's Mini-Medical program. Additionally, she served as an academic coach for her peers, providing guidance and support in their academic pursuits.

As a member of the Student Interviewing Committee at NJMS, Dr. Ravikumar gained insider tips for the medical school application process. Her experience in this role, combined with her own journey through the TCNJ/NJMS 7-year BS/MD program, positions her well to guide aspiring medical students through the challenges of medical school admissions.

Dr. Writt earned her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison before pursuing her DVM. During her time at UW–Madison, she began her journey in student support as a peer academic advisor, a role she continued for three years through her undergraduate and veterinary studies. This experience ignited her passion for counseling, as she found great fulfillment in supporting students both professionally and personally as they worked toward their goals.

In addition to her academic advising role, Dr. Writt served as a mentor for two years during veterinary school, further honing her skills in guiding and supporting students. Her experience in small and large animal clinical research has provided her with a deep understanding of the complexities of veterinary medicine. Her leadership roles in veterinary school extracurricular activities have also deepened her skills in teamwork, communication, and problem-solving.

As a consultant, Dr. Writt specializes in helping students navigate the application process by setting small, frequent, and specific goals to make it more manageable. She understands the stress associated with applying to veterinary school and strives to make the process as enjoyable as possible, often incorporating humor into her sessions to keep spirits high.

One of Dr. Writt's greatest strengths as a consultant is her skill in proofreading essays and personal statements. Her coaching style focuses on identifying and highlighting each student's strengths, incorporating specific aspects of their personality to create compelling applications.

Her current veterinary interests include emergency medicine, surgery, primary care, and dermatology.  Her academic and counseling background allows Dr. Writt to offer comprehensive support to students aspiring to enter the field of veterinary medicine.

Dr. Magrath graduated magna cum laude from Columbia University with a BS in biomedical engineering. His academic excellence earned him membership in Tau Beta Pi, the engineering honor society. During his time at Columbia, he developed a keen interest in medical device design through his biomedical engineering research.

Following his undergraduate studies, Dr. Magrath spent six months at the AO Foundation in Davos, Switzerland, the world's leading orthopedic surgery institute. There, he studied the relationship between gut microbiota and fracture healing, further expanding his research skills and knowledge in orthopedics.

At Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Dr. Magrath continued to excel academically and in research. He is a member of the American Osler Society and the American College of Physicians, demonstrating his commitment to medical scholarship and professionalism. He has published multiple articles while in medical school, ranging from articles in plastic surgery, orthopedic surgery, and otolaryngology, including a recent article on the history of medicine in the Annals of Internal Medicine.

Initially drawn to orthopedic surgery, Dr. Magrath later became fascinated with plastic surgery and its intersection with LGBTQ+ health equity, particularly in gender-affirming surgeries. His exploration of the history of gender-affirming surgeries reflects his commitment to understanding the broader context of medical practices and addressing health disparities while promoting inclusive medical practices. More recently, he has developed an interest in psychiatry, illustrating his open-minded approach to medical specialties.

Dr. Magrath's experience navigating the medical school application process and gaining admission to top medical schools has motivated him to help other applicants succeed. His journey to medicine is a testament to his passion and determination, as he followed a non-traditional path. As an undergraduate student, Dr. LaRivière majored in political science and had no initial interest in medical school until the age of 21. However, once he discovered his true calling, he pursued it wholeheartedly, ultimately graduating from a prestigious dual MD-PhD training program.

Dr. LaRivière's diverse educational background, which includes a PhD in Pharmacology as part of his doctoral education, has given him a specialized perspective on the challenges faced by aspiring medical professionals from non-scientific backgrounds. He is passionate about helping others from diverse backgrounds find their dreams in a career in medicine. 

As a coach, he excels in guiding students through the application cycle in a stepwise, manageable fashion, ensuring that they remain focused and organized throughout the process. He also has a keen ability to help applicants find their inner voice, enabling them to craft compelling narratives that showcase their strengths and experiences.

Dr. Pirooz has consistently demonstrated her commitment to excellence throughout her academic journey. At HSDM, she was awarded the Silver Medal for Scholastic Excellence, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Predoctoral Student Award for promise in the field of pediatric dentistry, and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a prestigious dental honor society. Additionally, she received several academic and performance scholarships, further highlighting her exceptional abilities and dedication to the field of dentistry. She has also volunteered as an Oral Health Educator at Boston's Children's Hospital and the University of Rwanda.

After earning her DMD from HSDM, Dr. Pirooz completed her pediatric dental residency at Columbia University, which was her top choice. This experience, combined with her current practice as a board-certified pediatric dentist, has given her a specialized perspective on the skills and qualities necessary for success in the field of dentistry.

What sets Dr. Pirooz apart as a counselor is her passion for teaching and mentoring, which began during her two years as a physics and biology high school teacher post-undergrad. This experience led her to work with students throughout dental school, residency, and beyond. For nearly a decade, she has been advising pre-dental students on dental school admissions and providing expert guidance as a DAT tutor.

Dr. Berry's impressive academic and professional achievements, coupled with his dedication to teaching, make him an invaluable resource for aspiring dental students. He attended Rhodes College in Memphis, majoring in biology while excelling as a four-year starter on the soccer team. 

Dr. Berry's passion for teaching and mentoring stems from his own experiences as a top-performing resident at the University of Alabama, Birmingham, where he was invited to stay on as a part-time instructor following his General Practice Residency. This opportunity allowed him to share his knowledge and skills with the next generation of dental professionals.

As an admissions consultant, Dr. Berry brings a no-nonsense, goal-oriented approach to helping students navigate the often complex dental school admissions process. He emphasizes the importance of setting SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, Timeline) goals to help students focus on what's essential for getting into dental school and launching a promising career.

Having read hundreds of school applications to residencies and participated in multiple interviews, Dr. Berry possesses refined insights into what admissions committees are looking for in candidates. He is eager to share this knowledge with students, helping them highlight their strengths, cut through the noise, and efficiently work towards achieving their dreams of becoming successful dental professionals.

Originally from Larkspur, Colorado, Dr. Crockett's educational journey began at the University of Florida, where he graduated magna cum laude with a degree in applied physiology and kinesiology. He then pursued his medical education at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City before completing his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Harvard/Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston.

Throughout his career, Dr. Crockett has demonstrated a deep commitment to mentoring and helping others. His passion for mentorship extends beyond the academic setting, as evidenced by his founding of an organization called "A Reason to Give," which provides meals for individuals with insecure housing needs.

As a mentor, Dr. Crockett firmly believes that every individual has their own strengths and a compelling story to tell. He focuses on helping his students identify and showcase their strengths, guiding them in building an authentic narrative that resonates with admissions committees. His approach to mentoring is centered on empowering his students to present their best selves and communicate their passion for medicine effectively.

Dr. Crockett helps students recognize their strengths through self-analysis. Dr. Crockett believes that every individual possesses a combination of innate and developed strengths that can give them a competitive edge in the medical school admissions process. Dr. Deutsch earned her bachelor's degree in animal science from Cornell University before completing her DVM at Washington State University. During her time in veterinary school, she was actively involved in the theriogenology department, the International Veterinary Students Association, and the Zoo Exotics and Wildlife Club. Her dedication also extended to externships in various conservation medicine programs, including the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute. Following graduation, Zarah continued her involvement with WSU by serving as an alumni application reviewer, gaining invaluable insights into the admissions process.

Dr. Deutsch also worked at a small animal general practice in Brooklyn, NY, for several years after graduating. However, her passion for teaching and her desire to explore the diverse career opportunities in veterinary medicine drew her back to academia. She embarked on a PhD and residency program at UC Davis, focusing on fish welfare.

Dr. Deutsch is deeply enthusiastic about teaching and mentoring students, eagerly helping them pursue their veterinary aspirations. She finds the extensive range of career paths available to DVM holders particularly inspiring, especially those in non-traditional fields.

As a coach, Dr. Deutsch excels at building meaningful connections with students. She approaches each interaction with the care and patience she would give to a younger sibling, sharing her wealth of knowledge about the admissions process to ensure that students stay organized and focused throughout every step of the journey.

Elisa’s academic excellence began during her undergraduate studies at USC, where she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor's degree in neuroscience and a minor in health care studies. Her passion for global health and community service was sparked early in life during her upbringing in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, where she attended a small, private, and Christian international school. Participation in mission trips to Indonesia and rural China during this time laid the foundation for her interest in rural and global medicine.

Elisa's commitment to improving medical education is evident in her participation in medical education research at Keck, focusing on improving inclusivity and diversity in the curriculum content. She frequently represents Keck School of Medicine at information sessions with various colleges, sharing her experiences and insights with prospective students.

Prior to medical school, Elis gained experience in education, working in college admissions, SAT preparation, and designing curricula for Upward Bound, a program supporting low-income minority high school students pursuing higher education. This background has equipped her with an understanding of the challenges faced by students from diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds.

In medical school, Elisa took on leadership roles as the president of the anesthesiology and radiology student interest groups. She also founded Empowering Future Health Professionals, a student organization connecting local high schoolers interested in healthcare with Keck students, further demonstrating her commitment to mentorship and community outreach.

Elisa believes in a holistic approach to evaluating medical school applicants and enjoys working with students to create narratives that highlight their strengths. During her undergraduate years, Elle's leadership skills shone through her involvement in various organizations. Before starting her medical education, Elle dedicated time to serving her community as a college adviser at a rural NC high school. She also coached the school's basketball and volleyball teams, demonstrating her commitment to mentorship and youth development. At Duke University School of Medicine, Elle developed a particular interest in neurosurgery and general surgery and was involved in brain tumor research.

Outside of her academic pursuits, Elle maintains an active lifestyle and continues her passion for mentoring younger students. Her background in college advising has equipped her with valuable skills in guiding students through important educational decisions.

Elle's excitement about helping medical school applicants stems from her genuine interest in hearing the stories of future doctors. Building on her understanding of admissions policies and strategies, Ellen served as Assistant Dean of Students at Columbia University's Postbaccalaureate Premedical/Prehealth Program for eight years, where she advised hundreds of non-traditional students seeking admissions to health professions programs. In addition to her advising duties, she organized the annual medical school fair, building strong relationships with professional school admissions deans across the country.

For 11 years, Ellen was Assistant Dean for Prehealth Advising at Fordham University. Working closely with students and alumni, she built the prehealth program to be one of the strongest in the tri-state area. Throughout all her roles, she has been committed to helping aspiring dentists achieve their goals.

As a member of NAAPH and NEAAHP, Ellen has been both a participant and moderator on many advising panels, and delivered presentations on topics such as Various Pathways to Professional School Admissions; When to Apply? Traditional vs. Non-traditional Applicants; and Rejected from Medical School: Options and Strategies. She is also the co-author of a book chapter on The Imposter Syndrome.

Ellen’s strength as a counselor is backed by her years of experience as an admissions committee member. She has screened and evaluated thousands of applications for interviews and met with hundreds of candidates both in person and across the US during recruiting trips. Ellen enjoys guiding students through the ever-changing landscape of health profession admissions.

During her tenure at Tufts University School of Medicine, Emily played a critical role in developing several new academic programs, such as the Physician Assistant and Doctor of Physical Therapy programs. She also oversaw the onboarding and implementation of new admissions processes and systems, ensuring a smooth and efficient application experience for prospective students. In addition to these programs, Emily administered admissions for Tufts MBS and worked with students applying to the Medical School's MD/MBA and MD/MPH, among other programs.

Through her work with MD applicants, Emily gained a keen understanding of the challenges and opportunities that aspiring medical students face. She recognizes that with dedication and hard work, medical school can be a possibility for many students, and she is passionate about helping them navigate the often nerve-racking application process. With her extensive experience and compassionate approach, Emily is well-equipped to provide guidance and support to students as they work towards their goal of attending medical school.

As an active member of professional associations, including NAAHP, NEAAHP, AACRAO, and NAGAP, Emily has presented on topics related to the admissions process and the admissions field at national and regional conferences. Emily's educational background includes a Master's degree from Emmanuel College and a Bachelor's degree from Stonehill College. Emma's journey in veterinary medicine began with her graduation from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where she earned a degree in biology and biotechnology. During her undergraduate studies, she served as the captain of the cross country, indoor, and outdoor track teams, and conducted research on the effects of phytoestrogens on osteoblast differentiation. 

During veterinary school, Emma completed selective hours in the large animal neonatal intensive care unit and the Worcester Veterinary Outreach program, providing free veterinary care to the Worcester community. Prior to veterinary school, Emma worked as a veterinary technician assistant at a small animal general practice hospital for five years and on a therapeutic farm, where she cared for goats, sheep, horses, and chickens.

Emma is passionate about tutoring and mentoring; she focuses on helping applicants brainstorm creative essay topics and execute well-structured essays. She brings her experience as an accomplished writer to guide students through the application process, offering support in long-term planning and time management. During his undergraduate studies, Ephraim pursued neuroscience and African & African American studies as a John B. Ervin Scholar and University Scholar in Medicine. He graduated summa cum laude, earning honors including the Barry Goldwater Scholarship, BP-ENDURE scholarship, and recognition as a regional finalist for the Rhodes Scholarship.

Born in Nigeria and raised in South Florida, Ephraim developed a special perspective from growing up in a multicultural environment. During his time at WashU, he demonstrated leadership and commitment to service through various roles, including interfaith fellow, president of the Minority Association of Premed Students, Alzheimer's researcher, and resident advisor. Additionally, he was a MARC USTAR research fellow, receiving funding for a two-year academic fellowship for minority students pursuing biomedical research.

His academic excellence and well-rounded profile led to his acceptance at all the medical schools he applied to, including top institutions such as UPenn, Columbia, Duke, Harvard, Johns Hopkins, Yale, WashU, NYU, USF, and Northwestern.

At Harvard Medical School, Ephraim became co-president of the Student National Medical Association, demonstrating his continued dedication to leadership and community building. He aspires to leverage translational research and education to engage and benefit his local community.

After graduating, Esther matriculated at the Pritzker School of Medicine, bringing a strong academic background and a passion for mentorship to her role. Esther’s time at UChicago shaped her career aspirations and solidified her interest in medicine. 

She divided her extracurricular activities into three areas: volunteering/student organizations, research, and shadowing. Through her experiences and exploration of opportunities available to her, Esther realized the importance of curating and structuring her experiences during college to tell a compelling story. 

For over three years, she served as an interviewer, gaining insights into the medical school application process. This experience has given her a strong grasp of what medical schools are looking for in candidates, making her an incredible source of knowledge for aspiring medical students.

In her free time, Esther continues to help pre-meds find their own stories to lay out in their medical school applications. Before attending PA school, Ethan graduated with High Honors from Michigan State University. During his undergraduate years, Ethan gained multidisciplinary experience in physical therapy and nursing, which broadened his understanding of healthcare and laid a strong foundation for his future career as a physician assistant.

Following his undergraduate studies, Ethan completed his physician assistant training at Case Western Reserve University. His leadership qualities and commitment to advocacy were evident during his time in PA school, where he served as the PA representative for the Health Education Student Government committee. In this role, he actively advocated for the needs of PA students and contributed to positive changes in the program.

She served as the Finance Branch Vice President and Accounting Director for the UH Delta Omega Chi Medical Service Society. She was also a junior fellow with the Albert Schweitzer Fellowship, a non-profit offering students the opportunity to design and implement a year-long mentored community project addressing unmet health needs for underserved populations in the Houston-Galveston area.

Her leadership roles extended to working as an emergency medical technician and patient care technician at the MD Anderson Cancer Center, volunteering as a research assistant, and actively participating in community service. Her academic achievements were recognized with the University of Houston Distinguished Sophomore Leader Award, highlighting her exceptional leadership skills, academic excellence, and dedication to community service.

Faith's research interests include clinical research within medical dermatology, focusing on hidradenitis suppurativa, skin microbiota, and general medical dermatology. She has published a literature review titled “Rethinking Hidradenitis Suppurativa Management: Insights into Bacterial Interactions and Treatment Evolution” in MDPI Antibiotics.

As a one-time applicant who was accepted into her top program at Yale, she shares valuable insights and knowledge from her own PA journey. Her greatest strength lies in identifying what makes each applicant unique and working diligently to highlight those qualities in their applications. With nearly three years of mentoring and consulting experience, including two years with Inspira, Faith has advised PA school applicants before, during, and after the CASPA cycle. She has helped strengthen applications, edited personal statements and supplemental essays, and conducted numerous mock interviews. Throughout her academic journey, Francesca developed a keen interest in the intersection of public health, population health, and medicine, particularly in the context of sexual and reproductive health. Her research primarily focused on access to care paradigms for HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis and the impact of various psycho-social risk factors on STI transmission among men who have sex with men.

Determined to apply her knowledge in a practical setting, Francesca applied to medical school with an impressive academic background and passion for public health shone through, and after careful consideration, she chose to attend the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Specializing in emergency medicine, she plans to continue her practice in the Northeast, where she can make a significant impact on the lives of her patients and the community at large.

Throughout her time at medical school, Francesca has been actively involved in various research projects and campus initiatives. Her research has spanned topics such as sexual and reproductive health among cis-gendered women, community and in-hospital harm reduction practices, and racial justice within the medical school curriculum. With several peer-reviewed articles to her name and presentations at multiple national conferences, Francesca has established herself as a proactive and influential figure in her field.

In addition to her academic and research pursuits, Francesca has been deeply involved with admissions at Mount Sinai. As a member of the admissions committee, Francesca brings expert insights to prospective applicants and an inside look at how admissions committees think and review applications.
