Dr. Zilkha already had the opportunity to attend the Washington University School of Medicine through the BA/MD program, but she decided to also apply to a few other top medical schools that were closer to home. She was accepted to the Yale School of Medicine, the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, and Columbia School of Medicine, but decided to return to WashU after she was awarded two full-tuition merit scholarships (the Olin Fellowship for Women and the Distinguished Alumni Scholarship) with a stipend.
After that, Dr. Zilkha matched at her top residency choice, which was Schneider Children's Hospital (now Cohen Children's Medical Center) of the Long Island Jewish Medical Center. During residency, she won an award for her research on latex allergy in pediatric housestaff. After residency, she did part of a fellowship in allergy/immunology at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. After pregnancy complications that disrupted her fellowship, she decided to instead transition to pediatric private practice.
She spent 20 years in pediatric private practice before pivoting to pediatric telemedicine. Dr. Zilkha has worked for multiple large telemedicine companies, but her biggest accomplishment was creating and launching the pediatric telemedicine division for Allied Physicians Group in New York. Once the pandemic hit New York, Dr. Zilkha scaled Allied Pediatric Telemedicine as well as trained physicians in telemedicine across the United States. Dr. Zilkha was personally responsible for bringing pediatric telemedicine to millions of U.S. children.

Nikhil is a resident physician at the University of Utah, training in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery. He attended UCLA for medical school and UC Davis for his undergraduate studies. As an undergrad, he had a strong interest in working with low-income populations, education and health literacy, and community health. This continued in medical school, where he led a clinic serving populations experiencing homelessness in LA. He also has a strong interest in global health and clinical research. As a resident, he is interested in further sub-specializing in head and neck cancer surgery and microvascular reconstruction.

Dr. Sadeghian (Ryan) possesses a unique background as a Physician Informatician, boasting an MD degree from St. George’s University's School of Medicine, a Physician Executive MBA from Auburn University, and Master’s degrees in Biomedical Informatics and Clinical Informatics from the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Washington, respectively. He also completed his pediatric residency at the Whiddon College of Medicine at the University of South Alabama. As the first and sole physician in North America to hold dual fellowship training in both Biomedical and Clinical Informatics, Ryan stands at the forefront of medical education and technology.
Ryan thrives in his role as a mentor, taking a personalized approach to each student's career path, considering their life stage, career aspirations, strengths, and weaknesses. His diverse background as a physician executive and his vast knowledge in medicine, business, and technology equips him to mentor over 60 students annually at various educational levels.
Beyond mentoring, Ryan has made significant contributions to medical education. Holding esteemed positions such as Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Rutgers University and Clinical Student Academic Advisor at St. George’s University, he has been instrumental in shaping the future of countless medical professionals. His dedication to education is evident in his enthusiastic teaching and coaching sessions, where he is committed to helping aspiring medical professionals navigate complex medical and residency admissions processes and achieve their career goals.
