She was an active member of the American Student Dental Association (ASDA) chapter, serving as both Vice President and President. Dr. Kalajian's dedication to her community was evident through her volunteer work at events such as Give Kids a Smile and her lobbying efforts on Capitol Hill on behalf of her patients and dental colleagues.

As the Class Representative, Dr. Kalajian acted as the liaison between pre-doctoral students and other local ASDA members. Following dental school, Dr. Kalajian completed a General Practice Residency (GPR) at Danbury Hospital in Connecticut. She currently works as an Associate General Dentist in a private practice just outside of Boston, MA, where she continues to hone her skills and provide high-quality care to her patients. Emma's educational journey began with a Bachelor's degree in nutritional sciences from the University of Florida, where she developed a strong foundation in the sciences. This background, combined with her well-rounded knowledge of the arts, has equipped her with the ability to explain challenging topics and identify areas of confusion for students.

Emma has firsthand experience navigating the DAT and dental school admissions process. This allows her to empathize with the challenges faced by applicants and offer insider information throughout their preparation. She understands the stress and uncertainty that often accompany the dental school application process, and she is committed to providing students with the guidance and reassurance they need to succeed.

As a tutor, Emma is known for her ability to simplify complex sections of the DAT into digestible parts. Ephraim completed his undergraduate studies at Washington University in St. Louis, where he pursued neuroscience and African & African American Studies as a John B. Ervin Scholar and University Scholar in Medicine. During his time at WashU, Ephraim demonstrated leadership and commitment to service through various roles, including Interfaith fellow, president of the Minority Association of Premed Students, Alzheimer's researcher, and Resident Advisor. With a perfect MCAT score in the 100th percentile and he was accepted at all the medical schools he applied to, including UPenn, Columbia, Duke, Harvard, Johns Hopkins, Yale, WashU, NYU, USF, and Northwestern, ultimately deciding to enroll at Harvard. 

At Harvard, Ephraim was co-president of the Student National Medical Association, demonstrating his continued dedication to leadership and community building. He looks forward to leveraging translational research and education to engage and benefit his local community.

Ephraim's passion for mentorship and education is evident in his extensive tutoring experience, which dates back to high school. He has served as a Peer Led Team Learning leader for General Chemistry and a TA for Physiology.

Erika works in clinical neurosurgery research and is also a certified EMT. AT MIT, she gained extensive research experience in a variety of different fields, conducting cognitive science, molecular biology, and medical device research. She also volunteered in a program where she tutored Boston-area immigrants in order to help them prepare for the US Citizenship Exam.

She also served as a teaching assistant for the biology department and led a student organization focused on health and medical equity while volunteering as a medical interpreter at a local free clinic. At the University of Chicago, she mentored new and prospective students as an admissions advocacy ambassador and teaching assistant for anatomy.

Haley is pursuing a DVM at Long Island University College of Veterinary Medicine and is deeply interested in Feline Infectious Peritonitis. She is currently working with LIU’s virologist to develop genome maps and a diagnostic protocol. Haley also works as a veterinary technician in Connecticut and New York. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Lasell University with a dual degree in Biological Science and Chemistry. 

While at LU, Haley held the position of President of Philanthropy in the Student Alumni Association, earning her the Summer Student Stipend Award. After graduation, she began her veterinary medicine journey at Orange Veterinary Hospital in Connecticut, where she served as a valued veterinary technician and, later, a student ambassador for United Veterinary Care. 

Haley's passion for animals has always been strong; she spent her childhood watching Steve Irwin and documenting local animals. Her love for people is just as strong, which is why she enjoys mentoring veterinary students. Haley scored in the highest percentile on her CASPer exam and has been dedicated to assisting students achieve similar success ever since. 

As a CASPer tutor, Haley passionately contends that the exam can be an enjoyable experience. She believes it provides a more accurate measure of an applicant's field readiness compared to traditional exams. Her tutoring approach is relaxed and personalized, viewing each study session as a chance to not only get closer to the student's target score, but to also acquire valuable life skills. Always passionate about dentistry, Hana began shadowing professionals and learning about the field during high school. She was among the five students accepted into the CU Denver BA/BS DDS Pipeline program. She has been tutoring since she became the president of the pre-dental club at the University of Colorado.  

Hana's approach to tutoring is rooted in her own experiences preparing for the exam. She aims to provide students with the support and guidance she found invaluable. Her main goal is not just to help students pass the test but to equip them with confidence and a deep understanding of the content. 

Key advice Hana gives to students when they are preparing for the DAT is to create correction notes to help them identify patterns in the mistakes they make and to enhance their understanding of the concepts. The process of creating correction notes involves writing down the question, followed by the answer, the thought process behind why the student selected the wrong answer, and an explanation of the correct answer. The reason why she emphasizes correction notes is because the DAT is a standardized exam, and all standardized exams follow patterns. By having students create correction notes, they can discern patterns in their mistakes and in the way the exam presents questions.

Dr. Warner graduated from Johns Hopkins with an MD and MPH in epidemiology/biostatistics before becoming a resident physician at the Johns Hopkins Osler Internal Medicine Training Program. Dr. Warner has sat on the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine admissions committee and has years of experience as a pre-medical advisor working with students who have gone on to top medical schools. Dr. Warner is currently a Hematology/Oncology fellow at the National Institutes of Health.

Dr. Warner obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona, where her fascination with the medical field flourished. She worked in a breast cancer research lab for four years, studying the protein interactions of triple-negative breast cancer. Her work in the lab led to her receiving funding to participate in a research exchange program in Sweden. Since then, Dr. Warner has authored 10+ peer-reviewed publications over her career.

Her research experiences solidified her interest in oncology and led her to the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. During medical school, she won multiple scholarships, including the AMWA Carter Global Health Fellowship and the PEO International Scholar Award. After her third year of medical school, Dr. Warner stepped away to pursue a fully funded MPH degree at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Here, she was able to learn advanced statistical techniques for clinical research.

As a consultant since her fourth year of medical school, Dr. Warner has worked with pre-medical students seeking guidance during their college years, as well as those navigating the medical school application process. She has also been involved in one-on-one advising and interview preparation. Her expertise extends to residency and internal medicine fellowship applications, making her a valuable mentor throughout a student's medical education journey.

Her passion for counseling stems from her own experiences applying to medical school and residency. During her time at Cornell, Dr. Podury earned several awards in recognition of her research, including the Einhorn Discovery Grant, the Zuckerman Prize for Excellence in Bioengineering Research, the Ewing Family Service Award, and the Menschell Cornell Commitment Award. While studying neural circuits, Archana worked at a syringe exchange in Ithaca, New York, where she witnessed firsthand the mechanics of court-based drug rehabilitation. Listening to patients’ stories deepened her conviction that science alone could not capture multiple dimensions of health and disease, which paved her path toward medicine.

At Harvard, Dr. Podury received $90,000 in scholarship support as a Paul & Daisy Soros Fellow and David Margin Graduate Student Leadership Fellow; she was also a recipient of the Massachusetts Medical Society Information Technology Award and Freeberg Student Research Award. Her work has centered on developing technologies to improve patient’s quality of life. In the Boyden Lab at MIT, she used optical imaging methods to characterize circuit dysfunction in human brain organoid models of neurodevelopmental disease, culminating in a publication in Nature. 

Dr. Podury worked in the Dhand Lab at Brigham and Women’s Hospital to apply network science tools to understand how patients’ social environments influence their health outcomes during disability. She is currently working in the Otopathology lab at Massachusetts Eye & Ear to study implant options for patients with sensorineural hearing loss and is applying machine learning methods to study surgical outcomes.

Dr. Park graduated summa cum laude from the University of Georgia with the highest honors and a research distinction. At UGA, he rowed for the UGA Crew Team, led over 8 campus organizations, led the genetic engineering team to a gold medal at an international competition against >300 teams, interned at the Institute for Disaster Management, established the UGA STEM Research Alliance, and was awarded the Presidential Award of Excellence as one of the overall top 1% graduate students. Dr. Rabinowitz's academic journey began at the University of Michigan, where he graduated with the Highest Distinction, earning a degree in cellular and molecular biology. His undergraduate career was marked by exceptional achievements, including being named a James B. Angell Scholar for seven consecutive semesters of perfect scholarship. He was inducted into both Phi Kappa Phi and Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Societies as a third-year student, an honor reserved for the top percentile of Michigan's graduating class.

During his time at Michigan, Dr. Rabinowitz demonstrated a strong commitment to peer education and mentorship. He served as a tutor, small group facilitator, and course leader for Introductory Biochemistry at the college's Science Learning Center, and as a mentor in the Michigan Pre-Med Advising Community (MPAC). His dedication extended beyond academics, as he volunteered as a music therapist at Michigan's Hospital, playing acoustic guitar for patients and their families.

He was integral in the Liaison Committee on Medical Education's institutional review of Johns Hopkins, served as an inaugural coach in the medical school's "Peer-to-Peer" learning program, and founded the school's Music and Medicine Interest Group.

He was elected by his peers to serve on the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine admissions committee. In this role, he was a voting and interviewing member, reviewing applications for half of all interviewed candidates, personally interviewing over 25 applicants, and participating in committee meetings as a voting member. He was also chosen as the study body speaker at National Match Day.

Dr. Sarad's academic journey began at UCLA, where she graduated with honors, majoring in physiological sciences and minoring in global studies. She then pursued a Master's in biotechnology at Keck Graduate Institute, focusing on device/diagnostic development and collaborating with biotech/pharmaceutical companies on projects involving clinical applicability and therapeutic options. She also started a new Global Brigades chapter in her graduate program with medical trips to Honduras.

Dr. Sarad’s passion for medicine led her to New York, where she completed her medical school education at Touro College of Medicine. Dr. Sarad graduated in the top 10% of her class, and her academic excellence was recognized through her membership in the Sigma Sigma Phi National Honors Society. Her success led her to NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center’s Surgical Residency Program, a competitive program with only five categorical positions open per year. Throughout her academic career, Dr. Sarad has been heavily involved in research, presenting at national conferences such as the American College of Chest Physicians (CHEST) and publishing manuscripts. 

Dr. Sarad's dedication to mentorship is evident in her extensive coaching experience. Dr. Okeke attended Vanderbilt University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in neuroscience, before attending the Emory School of Medicine. There, he pursued research on the negative effects of stress, particularly racism, on the white matter architecture of the brain. Currently, he is a neurology resident at UCSF. 

Dr. Okeke's research interests are primarily focused on traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury, with a particular emphasis on the recovery process. He aims to continue researching implantable devices that can aid in rehabilitation and improve patients' quality of life.

As a prior medical school student interviewer, Dr. Okeke brings expert insights into what admissions committees look for in applicants. He emphasizes the importance of crafting a compelling narrative within the application, focusing on threading different traits and strengths, especially for applicants with lower GPAs or test scores.

Dr. Patel's academic journey began at the College of New Jersey, where he graduated from the honors program with a Bachelor's degree in biology and a minor in economics. Following his undergraduate studies, he dedicated a year to City Year, an AmeriCorps program, providing classroom and after-school support to 9th-grade students in Queens, NY. This experience deepened his commitment to education and community service.

Before entering medical school, Dr. Patel obtained a Master's degree in biomedical sciences at Rutgers University, further strengthening his scientific foundation. He then matriculated at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (RWJMS), where he excelled academically and in community service. As a student doctor at the Promise Clinic, he provided care for uninsured patients in the local community, demonstrating his commitment to accessible healthcare.

Dr. Patel's passion for teaching and mentorship is evident in his diverse experiences. He has worked as an SAT and MCAT tutor and has coached inmates for the GED at a correctional facility. At Rutgers RWJMS, he helped coordinate the mentorship program between master’s biomedical sciences students and first-year medical students.

Throughout her academic career, Dr. Mathelier has demonstrated a strong commitment to research, neuroscience, and global health. During her time at Harvard, she conducted impactful studies at institutions such as the Pasteur Institute in Paris and the Neurodevelopmental Phenotyping Program at Boston Children's Hospital. Additionally, she has worked with NGOs to improve healthcare access in Haiti and the Dominican Republic, missions she continued during her gap year. This dedication to serving underserved communities remained a central focus during her time at medical school, as proven by her involvement in the Charles Drew UCLA Program, her research and publications in Haiti, and her pivotal role in establishing the Los Angeles Global Health Conference.

Dr. Mellacheruvu initially began his college career at the University of Washington with dreams of playing competitive cricket. However, a sports injury sustained during a study abroad trip in Oxford unexpectedly ignited his passion for medicine. Dr. Mellacheruvu graduated from the UW Honors College with a degree in biochemistry, setting the stage for his future in the medical field.

Choosing to stay close to home,  Dr. Mellacheruvucompleted his medical education at Washington State University. During his clinical rotations, he developed a deep interest in cardiology, which would shape his future career aspirations. 

Throughout medical school, Dr. Mellacheruvu demonstrated his commitment to advocacy and research. He became involved with national advocacy through the American College of Physicians, working to promote the interests of internal medicine physicians and their patients. Simultaneously, he participated in cardiometabolic research collaborations with teams at institutions such as Massachusetts General Hospital, Duke University, Northwestern University, the University of Washington, and the University of Pennsylvania.

Between college and medical school, Dr. Mellacheruvu gained valuable clinical and research experience. He worked as a scribe for an oncology clinic, gaining firsthand exposure to patient care and the inner workings of a medical practice. Additionally, he served as a research assistant at NanoString Technologies, working on breast cancer assays.

Dr. Mellacheruvu's ultimate goal is to build long-term relationships with his students, providing support and guidance throughout their journey to medical school and beyond. He recognizes that each individual has their own story and is dedicated to helping them maximize their storytelling potential through their applications, personal statements, and interviews. Dr. Chaturvedi graduated Magna Cum Laude and with distinction from Duke University, with a major in neuroscience and minors in biology and chemistry. After graduating, he spent a gap year at the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, MD, as an NIH IRTA fellow, investigating the roles of vasopressin (AVP) and oxytocin (OXT) in the central nervous system using mouse models. 

Dr. Chaturvedi then completed his MD at the UC San Diego School of Medicine. In addition to his impressive academic and research achievements, Dr. Chaturvedi has a strong commitment to mentoring and guiding aspiring medical professionals. For several years, he has served as a member of Duke's Medical Advisory Program (MAP) and UC San Diego School of Medicine's Premedical Advisory Program, where he has helped many students succeed throughout the medical school and residency application processes.

As a well-published author, Dr. Chaturvedi has extensive experience producing high-quality, professional essays, which have been instrumental in helping countless students navigate the admissions process successfully. Dr. Kessler attended Johns Hopkins University for her undergraduate studies in pre-med and French. While at Johns Hopkins, she led the JHU Medical Ethics Discussion Panel and worked in a neurology and neurosurgery research lab. She then attended the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in NYC and graduated with distinction in research. While at Mount Sinai, Dr. Kessler was the recipient of numerous awards, including a merit-based tuition scholarship for all four years of medical school.

While in medical school, Dr. Kessler founded the Special Forces Neurosurgery Collaborative with neurosurgeons from Mount Sinai, Cleveland Clinic, and the leadership of the US Green Beret Foundation, which is an organization that spearheads neurosurgery research initiatives geared towards addressing the unique healthcare needs of America's Special Forces warriors. Dr. Kessler has given over a dozen lectures on her research at national conferences and is currently a medical editor and reviewer for the Journal of Special Operations Medicine and MyHealthTeams, LLC. She was previously a reviewer for the World Neurosurgery journal and has authored five textbook chapters in major neurosurgical textbooks.

As a mentor, Dr. Kessler's greatest strength lies in her ability to draw from her extensive teaching and tutoring experience, coupled with her firsthand knowledge of the medical school and residency admissions processes. Her exceptional academic performance at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where she graduated with distinction in research, has provided her with invaluable insights into what it takes to succeed in the competitive world of medical education.

Dr. Ravi completed her medical training at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley School of Medicine. Before her medical education, she earned an undergraduate degree in cognitive science from Rice University, where she gained a deep understanding of the rigors and demands of a pre-med curriculum at an elite institution. She held leadership roles in the Rice University Pre-Medical Society throughout her undergraduate career, with experience in hosting various sessions and workshops for pre-medical students and conducting mock interviews for applicants. Saisree also served as a senior interviewer on the admissions team at Rice.

In medical school, Dr. Ravi continued her interest in mentorship by being involved in the Big Sibling program, guiding incoming MS1 students through their first year of medical school, and also serving as a Research Liaison for students interested in neurology and neurosurgery. She has also published numerous publications in the fields of cancer nanotechnology, head and neck surgery, and interventional neurology and stroke.

Dr. Llewellyn graduated from Bringham Young University, majoring in biochemistry and minoring in sociology, and was a competitive swimmer at a Division 1 school. After his successful swimming career, Dr. Llewellyn coached a high school swimming team to two state championships before moving to Washington, D.C., to work at the National Cancer Institute on an HIV vaccine. This experience sparked his interest in medical research and its potential to impact public health, leading him to join the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai MSTP, where he discovered his passion for medicine while living in NYC.

During his PhD, Dr. Llewellyn volunteered extensively at Icahn's student-run primary care clinic, which resonated with his research focus on the effects of diet on the gut microbiota and overall health. This experience led him to pursue a career in family medicine, where he witnessed firsthand the direct impact of diet on health and the importance of primary care and prevention for improved health outcomes.

Dr. Llewellyn completed his residency at the University of Colorado Family Medicine Residency, where he focused on research in primary care and practice transformations. As the chief resident in quality improvement and research, he led three practice transformation projects, demonstrating his leadership skills and commitment to improving healthcare delivery. At Oak Street Health, he is in their Clinical Fellowship for Value-Based Care Leadership, part of which is obtaining an MBA from Kellogg School of Management. Currently, as a primary care clinician, he is working on two population health projects aimed at reducing heart failure readmissions and improving 2S LGBTQIA+ care.

Dr. Llewellyn has guided numerous medical students and residents in improving their applications and personal statements, drawing upon his own experiences and expertise to provide personalized advice and support. He loves to coach, educate, and mentor and is always looking to help others reach their goals and dreams. He enjoys getting to know students and determining what makes them unique. Before attending medical school at Yale University, Dr. Chan worked as a life sciences consultant at a pharmaceutical consulting company. At Yale, she held various leadership positions in the Medical Student Council, served as the president of multiple interest groups, served on the Women in IR Committee for her specialty's society, and published more than 30 papers. She then completed a General Surgery internship year at UCSF before pursuing her residency.

Following her undergraduate studies, Dr. Esfandiary moved to Boston to continue her bioengineering research at MIT, further honing her skills and expanding her knowledge in this cutting-edge field. Her dedication to research and medicine then led her to the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, where she completed her medical degree.

Dr. Sadeghian (Ryan) possesses a unique background as a Physician Informatician, boasting an MD degree from St. George’s University's School of Medicine, a Physician Executive MBA from Auburn University, and Master’s degrees in Biomedical Informatics and Clinical Informatics from the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Washington, respectively. He also completed his pediatric residency at the Whiddon College of Medicine at the University of South Alabama. As the first and sole physician in North America to hold dual fellowship training in both Biomedical and Clinical Informatics, Ryan stands at the forefront of medical education and technology.

Ryan thrives in his role as a mentor, taking a personalized approach to each student's career path, considering their life stage, career aspirations, strengths, and weaknesses. His diverse background as a physician executive and his vast knowledge in medicine, business, and technology equips him to mentor over 60 students annually at various educational levels.
