Hamza’s focus shifted from becoming a psychologist to a psychiatrist when he was in his sophomore year. Since he’d taken many humanities courses to get started, Hamza knew he’d have to take medical prerequisites to get into his dream school. However, he wasn’t sure which courses he should take, when he should take them, or how to keep up his stellar GPA in the process.
We understand that selecting the right courses is paramount to any pre-med student's success. We evaluated Hamza’s transcript to identify classes he should take and helped him develop a coursework schedule to ensure he had the background knowledge necessary to perform well on the MCAT. By forging a deeper bond with Hamza, we learned his strengths to help him build a balanced coursework plan for the rest of his college career.
Hamza graduated college with a 3.9 GPA and was accepted to the GW School of Medicine through its Early Decision Program.
